School Counseling Department

Oak Glen High School Counseling Department

The role of a school counselor is to assist students in the development of academic achievement, provide information in career education, and support the student's personal and social development. Our school counselors collaborate with our administrators, teachers, staff, and community to help prepare students for a future that will compete globally.

Oak Glen has two counselors that will be available this school year to help our students. Mrs. Julia Macaluso and Miss Sherrie Garner.

Mrs. Macaluso

Mrs. Macaluso is working with all classes with specific concentrations on the 9th-grade transition to high school and school mental health counseling services.

Email: julia.macaluso@k12.wv.us

Miss. Garner

Miss. Garner is working with all classes with specific concentrations on 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade scholastic endeavors.
